The minimum accepted resolution for digital source files is 16 bit 44.1 kHz (CD quality) WAV or AIFF. Sending 24 bit mixes at your session sample rate is ideal. I can work from any uncompressed digital file format 44.1k or higher. MP3s and other lossy codecs or CD/WAV files created from them are not a suitable source for mastering due to the missing data.
Please submit the final mixes in a zipped folder via your preferred transfer method or my secure FTP in their original format with no clipping, limiting or sample rate conversion. DAT, cassette, vinyl and other physical media are also accepted with an additional transfer fee.
Along with the mixes, please send me a note with your titles, song order, fades, spacing, and any sonic considerations that you'd like me address in mastering. If you have a specific sequence worked out, send it as one file which I can use as a template to recreate that exact sequence with the mastered audio. Feel free to include a description of how you'd like the project to sound in whatever terms come to mind, nothing technical is required. You may also provide links to reference tracks that demonstrate the tone or dynamics you are aiming for.

Clients are responsible for reviewing and approving all master parts before sending them to press or distribution.
Maintaining safety copies and data backups is the client's responsibility. It may not always be possible to recall and reprocess an exact master at a later date if data is unable to be retrieved or if I no longer have the same equipment used during the initial mastering process.
In the unlikely event of difficulties arising from equipment malfunction or errors, I will do my best to promptly remedy the issue at no charge. The studio is not liable for any incidental or consequential damages. In any situation, the maximum liability of the studio shall not exceed the monetary value received for working on the project.
